Expected salary range of $123,300 to $137,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Provide a leadership role in the supervision of operational chemistry programs. Provide coaching and mentoring for all operational activities. Maintain Chemistry programs including all performance and regulatory aspects of the program.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Supervise Chemists and technicians. This includes coaching and mentoring, reinforcing the fundamentals, scheduling, and maintaining working files.
- Lead and provide support for Chemistry related projects.
- Participate and support the training program.
- Lead and provide an interface role with other departments which will include input on system performance and schedule reviews.
- Manage and maintain the Chemistry budget for the plant systems.
- Participate in EP rotation. Subject to call out as required in support of station requirements.
- Advocate for station support of chemistry equipment to provide good material condition
- Lead programs which maintains reliable lab instrumentation
- Represent chemistry manager at site leadership meetings
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum: Assessment Center Qualification. Chemistry technician qualification or Navy ELT with 5 years nuclear plant experience Or 4 year technical degree and 5 years of non-plant experience Or
- 8 years nuclear plant experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Chemistry or Chem Eng Degree
- Supervisory experience
- ANSI qualification for site Chemistry positions per site specific requirements
