Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, Every other weekend rotation, rotating holidays
Length: 13 weeks

- MN License
- 1 year of MS Neuro experience required
- BLS
- NIHSS

- Travelers may float to other like units including surgical care, medical units, inpatient rehab units.

Ratios: Team RN, LPN and NA 6-7 patients…RN, LPN: 5 patients…RN, NA: 4 patients…NPCU is a 1:3. Utilize Team nursing model which encompasses the RN, LPN and NA model within the general Neuroscience Spine unit; Primary nurse model RN, NA in the NPCU.
Years of experience REQ: 1 year of MS Neuro experience required

- MN state license (not a compact state)
- BLS
Pending License accepted: Yes – must include proof of date submitted

- Ceiling lifts in 20 of the patient rooms
- ICP Monitoring, ART Line Monitoring, and Cardiac Monitoring, in the NPCU
- Remote Cardiac Monitoring capabilities in all patient rooms
- Continuous EEG Monitoring capabilities
- Lumbar Drainage System capabilities
