Salary and Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary range of $73,000 - $89,000 annually, commensurate with candidates’ experience and qualifications.

Position Description:
ACEC is seeking a self-motivated professional as our Assistant Director, Meetings, Exhibits & Awards.
As an integral member of our Meetings, Exhibits & Awards team, the Assistant Director, Meetings, Exhibits & Awards is responsible for managing our Fellows and Awards programs, events marketing, and support major event session production.
Duties:
Fellows and Life Fellows Programs
Oversee and manage the Fellows and Life Fellows Programs
Work with state Member Organizations and member firms to maintain/grow participation including identification and vetting of Fellows candidates
Oversee and implement dues billing for Fellows membership
Identify meeting locations and work with VP of Meetings and Events on logistics, costs, lodging and F&B, including running meetings on site
Responsible for Fellows Committee meetings including: Committee calls/Zooms, schedules, logistics, agenda development, minutes, travel, expenses, and reimbursements
Organize, facilitate, and implement fundraising programs for Fellows at conference events
Oversee and manage the ACEC mentoring programs – ACEConnects and BuddyUp
Awards Programs
Under the direction of Director, Awards Programs, and working with other ACEC staff and Committee subject-matter leads, manage awards programs and recognition:
Community Service Awards
Young Professional of the Year Awards
Coalition Distinguished Service Award
QBS Special Recognition Award
Distinguished Service Awards
Award of Merit
Responsible for communications with, obtaining materials from, and scheduling of awardees
Manage Awards Program rehearsals
Marketing & Project Management
Work with department VP, ACEC Marketing/Comms team, and agency of record to develop and implement marketing plan and tactics for the major conferences and EEA Gala, including web and mobile app content development, email promotions, digital ads
Work with department VP and SVP to develop and maintain meeting website content to ensure current program/speaker/session information
Work closely with department SVP on General Session production and speaker management
Budget
Work with VP and SVP to develop Fellows Program and mentorship programs budgets and responsible for expense control and management of said budgets
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, event management, business, or related fields. Marketing experience and experience managing complex projects and working with Committees strongly preferred. Experience producing general sessions and managing high-level speakers preferred. Exceptional verbal/written communication and editing skills. Some travel required. Excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills required. Attention to detail, highly self-organized, ability to work independently, “multi-task,” and work well under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software. Experience with databases, marketing platforms, and web tools preferred.
