Established, owner-led real estate research company seeks a full-time remote Sales Development Representative skilled at building relationships with savvy business clients.

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll report directly to our Business Development Director (BDD), ensuring clear communication and alignment with our business goals.
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for:
* Contacting provided leads, researching new leads, and starting new relationships to generate leads and find potential new sales opportunities.
* Building strong relationships by nurturing warm prospects.
* Managing and maintaining a pipeline of interested prospects and engaging the BDD in the next steps of the sales process. The SDR and the BDD will work as a team to create sales for the company.
* Prospecting and creating relationships with essential companies’ industry directors, managers, and executives. Prospecting efforts include cold calling, calling warm leads, incoming calls, LinkedIn, email, text, etc.
*Identifying ways to improve the lead generation process.
*Meeting with BDD daily and weekly meetings.
*Investing personal time in continuing sales education using company-provided training materials.
*Providing the best first impression and customer service to potential new customers by prospecting with integrity, transparency, and an attitude of service.
*Contacting and developing relationships with selected industry participants to gauge interest in sharing information about their projects in exchange for limited access to our national, subscriber-based database. Once the SDR has built a relationship, there is the opportunity to convert this relationship into customers of Lodging Research.
* Performing other selling duties as assigned by BDD.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
Two or more years of experience as a Sales Development Representative with a track record of achieving or exceeding quotas. We will ask you to provide contact information to verify your success in past jobs.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, including strong communication skills via phone, email, text, and LinkedIn.
B2B experience
With your extensive sales experience and the opportunity to talk to new customers, you will be able to provide new ideas to improve the sales process.
Strong time management and organization skills
You must take a cognitive and aptitude test as part of the application process.
CRM software experience is preferred but not required. Willingness to continue to learn and grow with the company.
What We Offer:
Base Salary: $52,000 - $58,500
Commissions: meeting the quota of warm leads to the BDD and a % of the sales closed by the BDD
