We are hiring a Recruiting Assistant for our office in Montego Bay who will be ready to assist in our high-volume recruitment onsite. The Recruiting Assistant will be responsible for working with a team on administrative tasks and engaging with potential hires to help keep our high-volume recruitment environment organized. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guide new hires through the online onboarding process and assist them with application completion and document review/authorization
- Collect, organize, verify documents, and file documents required from new hires
- Extend offers post final interview, communicate onboarding process, document candidate information in ATS/Tracking
- Track pre-employment requirement completions of each new hire
- Participate in job fairs, local, and onsite events to promote career opportunities
- Provide support to the recruiting team conducting phone screenings as needed
- Utilize application tracking tools and systems to document candidate profiles and all necessary information
- Track extensively throughout the recruitment process and document profiles
- Assist the team with internal audits and data requests
- Attend job fair and community events as needed
- Commit to and meet weekly hiring needs for the organization
- Ensure all compliance and regulatory guidelines are met
- Manage various reports including trackers
- All other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in administrative and/or HR Recruitment role is a plus, but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong command of the English language
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Data entry/typing skills
- Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint
- Proven ability to build rapport with candidates and employees regardless of hierarchy
- Persistent in meeting goals and strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Work with integrity and high-level confidentiality with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive, energetic, and eager to learn
- Flexible to work extended hours including holidays and weekends, based on business need
- Work onsite in Montego Bay, Jamaica
