CDnA - Director, Marketing Investment Optimization
What you will do

In this vital role we are looking for an analytics executive who possesses excellent communication skills, the Director, Marketing Investment Optimization, will play a pivotal role in providing inputs, insights, and recommendations towards shaping and implementing our marketing strategies, ensuring our products reach the right audience and have a positive impact on patients' lives. This role will focus not only on understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape but also on making data-driven investment decisions, collaborating with the cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Value & Access, Media, Forecasting, Finance etc.), to optimize marketing spend and drive maximum return on investment (value).
Responsibilities:
Design metrics and KPIs to supervise performance of spend across in-person, digital, and media channels and attribute impact across the same.
Accountable for measurement of spend efficiency and for recommendations on optimization of future spend across brands, tactics, channels, and audience types.
Collaborate with Marketing, Media, Finance and other CD&A teams to help create marketing budgets and supervise spending to ensure cost-effectiveness and improve ROI.
Work closely with Marketing and Finance teams to analyze the financial impact of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
Instill trust in collaborators on data driven investment recommendations.
Hire, coach, mentor and lead a team of analytical leads that deliver to promise of driving data driven investment decision for the commercial organization.
This is a hybrid position in either Thousand Oaks, CA or Deerfield, IL offices, expected to be in office 3 times a week.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 4 years of experience in a quantitative field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics)
Or
Master's degree and 8 years of experience in a quantitative field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics)
Or
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience in a quantitative field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics)
In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have at least 4 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to collaborate with senior collaborators to translate business requirements into analytical plan and effectively communicate complex ideas/solutions to influence practical decision-making.
Experience in pharmaceutical marketing or healthcare marketing, with a focus on customer-facing roles highly preferred.
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, regulations, and market dynamics preferred.
Strong analytical skills (data sciences, primary market research/ secondary data analytics/ forecasting) with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven investment decisions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence partners.
Proficiency in data analytics tools to drive strategic decision-making.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Develop, coach, lead, and retain a successful analytics team.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
