What We Are Looking For:
As a Sales Director, you will deliver growth for the US business by acquiring new logos primarily in the Financial Services sector, and initiating sustainable long-term partnerships. This role is an individual contributor role (no direct reports) at this time. You will be part of the US Commercial team and should be based in New York. You will drive the sales process with Enterprise prospects, from initial engagement through to deal closure. You will develop comprehensive account strategies, create compelling value propositions, and drive complex contract negotiations to deliver business growth.
What You Will Work On:
- Deliver new business growth with a focus on US enterprise Financial Services
- Map out prospect organization’s stakeholders, identifying relevant decision makers and budget holders to engage
- Understand prospect’s business strategy, goals and revenue streams
- Build business cases with the Solutions Consulting team and compelling presentations that make Persado's products and solutions relevant to the prospect and generate new opportunities
- Create and articulate compelling and simple stories for both technical audiences and C-level stakeholders
- Develop approaches which create urgency with prospects to drive deals forward
- Position yourself as a trusted advisor in leveraging Persado's EnterpriseAI as a revenue driver for enterprise companies
- Manage contract negotiations with large, complex enterprise accounts
- Prospect via email, phone, linkedin and partner ecosystem to develop and close business in a timely manner while maintaining a strategic, personalized approach
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of direct B2B selling experience, with 7+ years selling to large enterprise accounts
- 5+ years of experience selling to Financial Services / Banks at executive level
- Proven track record of closing large, complex agreements / deals
- Able to transfer our services into a commercial structure, and executing a sales cycle based on that structure
- Experience presenting complex topics simply to C-level stakeholders, as well as mid-management
- Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and team spirit
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit, combined with a collaborative and structured approach
- Strong understanding of Marketing Technologies is a plus
- Aptitude for learning and staying current with industry trends
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem and its various components
