What you will do:
Position requirements are to perform a variety of repairs and services in a specialized building system environment with a high emphasis on HVAC and Mechanical Systems. Working knowledge of BAS, and other similar types of related equipment and systems is a PLUS.
This role will service Bethesda MD and DC
How you will do it:
- Service, Repair, Maintain, Monitor and Adjust HVAC systems to keep within allowable parameters.
- Will plan, select, and lay out required materials for service and repair work.
- Complete assigned Preventive Maintenance tasks.
- Uses building prints, schematics and other available documents while troubleshooting system failures and work requests.
- Manages subcontracted work to ensure proper notifications are sent, work is completed in accordance with designed scope of work and ensures all safety requirements are met.
- Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and machines instrumental to building operations.
- Provide detailed information related to procurement group for new supplies and equipment.
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and complies with all company policies.
- Is required to participate in an on-call rotation schedule to attend to emergency situations at the facility.
What we look for:
Required
- 3-7 years of experience in a Facility Maintenance environment.
- Working and operating knowledge of Building Automated System (BMS), preferably Metasys and Tridium
- Requires in-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs requests
- Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to: climb ladders, operate machinery, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., etc
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
Preferred
- Proven Electrical system working knowledge a PLUS
- Completion of a two-year technical degree
- Metasys and Tridium experience is a plus
Hourly Pay Rate: $31.63-$47.00 per hour
