Location Description: Michael Foods, Inc. located in Gaylord, Minnesota is Minnesota's Healthy Heartland! Gaylord is located in south central Minnesota about an hour west of the Twin Cities and 35 minutes from Mankato, Hutchinson, and New Ulm. As the County Seat, Gaylord is the "Hub of Sibley County." Our location produces liquid egg, hardcook egg, and precooked egg such as scrambled, patties and omelets. Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing finished goods inventories. This would include controlling stocking levels of all items as well as maintaining accurate inventory control to protect our company’s investment while meeting our customer’s needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Control aged product and rotation.
- Alert management and the transportation coordinator of any discrepancies with shipments.
- Work closely with the clerk and leads concerning issues with the inventory, receipts or shipments.
- Work with MFI locations for intercompany shipments and discrepancies.
- Preparation of documents, reconciliation of inventory, investigate OD&D’s.
- Work with customer service, supervisor, and manager concerning inventory shortages for customers.
- Closely watch and monitor the tasks in TRM for any issues or completion.
- Watch the product needs and ensure inbound receipts are completed in order as needed.
- Work with QA and Customer Service for return orders.
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills for working with other departments, customer service, coworkers and answering incoming calls.
- Promote teamwork within your team and between teams by communicating in a positive and pleasant manner.
- General office duties to include answering phones, faxing and filing documents.
- Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety
- Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality of MFI products.
- Adhere to all safety polices and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum one year experience in warehousing and computer skills. Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills are required. The ability to use standard office technology such as a computer, copier/fax machine and phone system.
- High school diploma or G.E.D or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Effectively read, write and speak English.
- Strong math and configuration is necessary
