As a Planner Scheduler, you will manage the facility operations of an electric vehicle battery manufacturing plant by overseeing maintenance activities and ensuring efficiency. This role involves scheduling technical maintenance teams, coordinating subcontractor services, and maintaining equipment performance to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for liaising with team members and ensuring customer satisfaction with service requests.

What you will do
Facility management of a newly constructed electric vehicle battery manufacturing plant located in Stanton, TN. This is a performance based, 12-year, O&M contract providing hard services of MEP equipment within the facility, excluding the manufacturing and production equipment. The objective is to maintain a seamless environment by assuring that equipment is performing to specifications to facilitate uninterrupted manufacturing and administrative functions.
How you will do it
Ensures the effective execution of all maintenance work control processes by utilizing BMS and CMMS. Plans and schedules the day to day activities of technical facility maintenance teams, orders, required parts, and well as requests and coordinates subcontracted service. Follows up as needed to assure customer satisfaction with work order requirements.
KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take incoming service request calls
Create work order for all service requests, PM’s and corrective action work
Schedules and dispatches tradesmen and team members
Debrief tradesmen and team members after completion of each call
Respond to all messages left overnight
Maintain the schedules for Preventative Maintenance, Corrective and Reactive work orders
Forecast workload for 30 days out
Contact customers with a “Parts Pending” status as parts are received for scheduling
Follow up on all pending and recommended work with team
Maintain billing, scheduling and staging of materials, and database information
Order parts for work orders
Maintain customer history files in CMMS
Prepare paperwork for all manufacture warranty parts
Facilitates return of warranty parts
Compare service timecards and work orders to service schedule
Check service timecards for accuracy
Coordinates service contractor’s Preventative and Corrective maintenance scheduling with trade foreman
Schedules contractor activities for building access
Verifies vendor times and charges
Requisitions supplies and equipment necessary to complete preventative, corrective and reactive service
Assure all work is document and work orders are closed in the CMMS. This includes all labor, materials and history is documented.
Work with On-Site Manager, TB Service Manager and trade foreman to assure all equipment and preventative maintenance inspections have been inputted into the CMMS with Manufacturer’s recommendations.
Enforces all Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI) safety and risk management policies and procedures; reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner and identifies and corrects unsafe work conditions with management oversight.
Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
