What you will do
The Materials Engineering Intern will work within the BE Materials Lab team under the direction of full-time Materials engineers.
How you will do it
The activities that the intern would perform include:
· Sample Preparations of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.
· Etching, polishing and microscopy of various metallic alloys .
· Use of Image Analysis software for documenting and analyzing various microstructures.
· EDS/SEM analysis of materials including imaging and spectral analysis.
· Mechanical testing of materials.
What we look for
· Current Junior or Senior in a relevant Engineering field at an accredited university.
· Candidates with a major in Materials Science or with strong background or experience in Materials preferred.
