Building Maintenance Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $17.00 /hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:30am to 04:00pm)
- 45-day Conversion with $1/hr. raise
Building Maintenance Qualifications:
- Building maintenance experience required
- Routine upkeep of exterior elements like roofs, gutters, and siding
- Regular inspections of heating and cooling systems
- Proper fire safety measures
- Compliance with local ordinances regarding building upkeep and property maintenance and standards
- Prioritizing safety and functionality of the building across different weather conditions
- Key points about building maintenance:
- Climate considerations such as snow removal, insulation and proper weatherproofing of exterior walls
- Building codes (IBC) which outlines basic requirement including electrical, plumbing, and structural integrity checks
- Regular inspections of building systems and structural components are crucial to identify potential issues early on
- Roof maintenance with frequent checks for leaks, damage, and proper drainage
- Exterior maintenance with regular cleaning of siding, windows, doors, gutters, and downspouts
- Interior upkeep to properly clean and maintain floors, walls, ceilings, lighting fixtures, and common areas to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
- Accessibility compliance ensuring compliance with ADA standards for accessibility features in buildings
