Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicles are safe for our customers.
- Diagnose and perform accurately all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including the repair of brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches and other repairs.
- Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately. Maintain records of all maintenance work completed including parts and supplies used.
- Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must have appropriate mechanic’s tool set.
Must have or be able to obtain a Commercial Driving License with passenger and airbrake endorsements (We can offer training opportunities to obtain your CDL license)
ASE certifications preferred. Must participate in company ASE certification program (company training, and testing)
Excellent communication skills with ability to read, interpret safety documents, blue prints, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams.
Ability to pass a DOT physical examination, including background and a drug test.
