About the Role:
SquarePeg is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant/Staging professional to join our finance team. This role involves managing financial records, preparing reports, and overseeing staging operations to ensure accurate accounting processes and optimal inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis reports.
- Conduct regular audits of staging inventory to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Maintain and organize financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with staging teams to track and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Provide support for financial decision-making through analysis and cost tracking.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with staging or inventory management.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- CPA certification or relevant certification is a plus.
