This Scrum Master will support agile teams in their ongoing quest for high performance, efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.
Work schedule: Night Shift, 9PM - 6AM PH time, Monday to Friday
Work Set up: Hybrid ( with occasional visits to Makati once or twice a month; must be amenable to report to Makati when needed)
Eligibility: Filipino Citizen | must be based in Manila or nearby provinces
Responsibilities
As a key player in our agile approach in product delivery, the Scrum Master should be:
- Responsible for scrum ceremonies and processes
- an Agile evangelist with proven track record in Agile product delivery
- Knowledgeable of Agile best practices
- a leader, overseeing, and planning development activities
- Working closely with Product Team and cross-functional teams
- Sharing responsibilities for planning, organization, and execution of technology initiatives within Scrum
Some of the tasks of the Scrum Master are:
- Facilitating Scrum Meetings, and Sprint Planning and retrospectives
- Capacity Planning
- Co-managing product backlogs
- Capturing and supporting story creation, facilitating story breakdowns, and capturing estimates
- Tracking sprint metrics (e.g. velocity, defects, sprint goals, etc.)
- Utilizing team and sprint metrics such as burndown charts
- Anticipating and responding to changes in direction, priority, and sprint performance, amd resolving roadblocks for the team
II. General Tasks
- Participates in process improvement; recommending changes in policies and procedures
- Escalates issues and risks in a timely manner and ensuring that all issues are addressed
- Ensures adherence to Agile practices
- Provide metrics on team performance
- May be responsible for budgeting and forecasting exercises

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science from a four-year college or university with at least two years of Agile experience.
- CSM certification
- 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master PLUS 5 years solid IT experience in the software development space
- Demonstrated experience in improving team cohesion and velocity
- Experience using agile project management software
- Solid understanding of EPICS, Features, Stories, and Acceptance Criteria
- Excellent communication
- Goal oriented
- Effective decision-making skills

- Software development experience
