Painter Helper Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $18.00 to $20.00 /hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)
- Sanding, scraping, priming, or sealing surfaces to prepare them for painting
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment, using solvents, brushes, and rags
- Clean surfaces of workpieces in preparation for coating, using cleaning fluids, solvents, brushes, scrapers, steam, sandpaper, or cloth
- Select and mix ingredients to prepare coating substances according to specifications, using paddles or mechanical mixers
Painter Helper Qualifications:
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures relevant to industrial painting
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Prior experience in industrial painting, preferably in structural steel fabrication
- Must have valid drivers license to operate equipment
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
