Nox Health seeks a highly skilled and proactive Senior IT Support & Network Specialist to join our US-based IT Operations team. This key role supports the daily technical needs of our US team while contributing to global operations across Iceland, Portugal, and other locations. In this role, you will collaborate with our Helpdesk Lead to improve helpdesk efficiency and user satisfaction while focusing on root-cause issue resolution and advanced network support. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, decision-making autonomy, and strong troubleshooting skills to drive continuous improvement in our IT services.
Responsibilities:
Helpdesk Support & Root-Cause Analysis
- Collaborate closely with the US Helpdesk Lead to provide responsive, effective support for day-to-day IT needs, including assisting with escalations and complex troubleshooting.
- Engage directly with end-users, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, focusing on long-term solutions and minimizing repeat issues.
- Identify patterns and recurring issues, developing proactive solutions and documentation to enhance the user experience and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the IT Operation team to continue the growth of the organization and department.
System and Network Infrastructure Management
- Oversee system and network infrastructure setup, configuration, and maintenance to ensure seamless and reliable operations for our US teams.
- Independently manage on-site tasks, including equipment installations, system upgrades, network connections, and infrastructure optimizations to maintain a robust and efficient environment.
- Act as a trusted resource for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving infrastructure-related issues at their root, implementing sustainable solutions to prevent recurring problems.
Strategic mindset & Team Collaboration
- Act as a trusted technical on-site decision-maker, contributing to the strategic improvement of IT operations in the US.
- Work with the IT Director and other global team members to align US operations with company-wide IT initiatives and infrastructure goals.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a proactive and solution-oriented team culture.
- Experience: 5+ years in IT support or a similar role, with a demonstrated ability to handle both user support and network management responsibilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in network troubleshooting, infrastructure setup, VPN configuration, and remote site support. Experience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager is highly desirable. Familiarity with single sign-on (SSO) configurations and automation tools is a plus. Demonstrates an eagerness to continuously learn and adapt to evolving technology and collaboration with peers.
