3rd shift- 10:00pm-6:30am, Monday-Friday
PURPOSE: This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing all production and facility equipment as well as performing project work.
JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for production machinery and support equipment.
- Ability to read and understand electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints.
- Possess good organizational and communication skills.
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, safety and quality conscious; requiring minimal supervision.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Can operate basic shop equipment (hoist, forklift, scissor lift, etc.)
- Able to work in confined areas, climb ladders, and work at heights of 50 feet.
- Able to distinguish colors used in color-coding wires and electronic components.
- Strength in welding, fabricating, and pipe fitting
- Ability to install and set up AC and DC drives
- Be willing to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.
- Be able to understand and interpret the specifications and procedures related to this job.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years’ related experience and/or training
- Strong computer literacy with experience in operating HMI’s (touch screens)
- Experience with SLC, Micro Logiz, Logix 500, Logix 5000, and RSLinx
- Familiarity with NEC (national electric code) as it applies to industrial applications
