What’s a typical day as Executive Assistant to the Dean of College? You’ll be:
- Serving as a liaison to both internal and external constituencies, explaining policies, answering questions, and independently resolving issues.
- Accurately maintaining the Dean's appointment calendar, scheduling meetings and conferences, and coordinating administrative and logistical support.
- Managing the Dean's travel arrangements, including required documents and reimbursement.
- Overseeing the daily operation of the Dean's Office, assisting with event planning, and supervising staff and/or students.
- Preparing presentation materials, editing content, and adding graphic elements. Composing correspondence, memorandum, forms, and reports using appropriate software.
- Advising on and implementing office policies and procedures, and developing office forms.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least five years of experience in an office or administrative support position, or a Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience.
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are proficient in using office software and tools for correspondence and presentations.
