About the Role
We are seeking an experienced podcast producer based in New York City for a video podcast project. The producer will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of the production, including video angles, lighting, and ensuring optimal visual quality for darker skin tones. This initial project will involve producing two episodes in one day at a studio in Manhattan, with the potential for an ongoing working relationship if the collaboration is successful.
The role requires the producer to be on-site for the recording, ensuring a seamless and professional production process. The desired style and tone can be referenced in our previous episodes here.
- Proven experience in producing video podcasts or similar media projects.
- Strong knowledge of video production techniques, including camera angles and lighting setup, with specific expertise in highlighting darker skin tones.
- Proficiency in video editing and sound synchronization is a plus.
- Ability to manage the technical workflow in a studio setting efficiently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Availability to work on-site in Manhattan for the duration of the recording day.
