About the Position
Position / Specialty: Multimodality Tech (X-Ray & CT)
Performs CT scan and radiographic exams. Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas as directed, according to established practices and procedures. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns.
Shift: Will work Thurs-Sat, 3x12s, 7p-7:30a, with on call rotation among staff
Is on-call REQ? Yes, on call rotation among staff. If shifts are not filled when traveler is on call, then weekend work may be required.
Required/Preferred
Years of experience REQ: One year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and Computed Tomography
First-timers accepted: Yes
National Certs REQ: ARRT (R) (CT), SCRQSA (R) (CT), CPR, BLS
Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology and be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association. Certification of CPR required. American Heart Association (AHA)
Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers

Attendance Policy: does have an attendance policy for travelers. If more than two shifts per 13-week contract are missed without medical documentation or reasonable explanation subject to discretion, contract will be reviewed for cancellation.
