Inizio Engage is looking to build a team of passionate and highly motivated Cell Therapy Navigators, in collaboration with Iovance Biotherapeutics, to drive the education and adoption of a new FDA-approved cell therapy providing new possibilities to patients with unresectable or metastatic melanoma.
As a Cell Therapy Navigator you will play a critical role in educating physicians and oncology healthcare providers about a novel cell therapy and how to access that therapy at authorized treatment centers. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, delivering in-depth product knowledge, and educating on authorized treatment centers where patients can receive lifesaving therapy.

What will you be doing?
- The Cell Therapy Navigator will educate high-opportunity, community oncology practices and HCPs on the FDA approved label including indication, clinical data, safety and all key messages to support appropriate patient identification and expedite the patient treatment journey via educating HCPs on Authorized Treatment Centers.
- Demonstrate passion and compassion for metastatic or unresectable melanoma.
- Demonstrate deep marketplace, therapeutic, product and disease expertise based on thorough understanding of rigorous scientific principles and data, including, indication, efficacy and safety.
- Understand and apply knowledge of healthcare industry, trends, applicable laws and regulations, market conditions, and the market access environment (including but not limited to, payer/reimbursement landscape and patient flow/navigation between Authorized Treatment Centers and community practices) and analyze these factors in the development of business plans and in daily execution of interactions with the HCPs within compliance guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians/HCPs office staff and others in the patient care continuum.
- Foster team effectiveness and accomplishment of shared goals by providing knowledge, experience, and information across cross-functional teams in a compliant and timely way with a strong sense of urgency.
- Demonstrate advanced ability to ask strategic, insightful questions to obtain information on customer needs from all stakeholders in accounts, using the insights to position current promoted brands and collaborate with customers on a customized strategy.
What do you need for this position?
- 2+ years of current or previous nursing experience
- Oncology, metastatic melanoma experience and/or cell therapy experience preferred
- BSN or equivalent preferred
- Previous clinical education, pharmaceutical sales and/or field reimbursement preferred
- Current relationships with key high volume community oncology practices within geography/metropolitan area preferred
- Experience and proven success in accessing and building relationships with hard to access customers
- Demonstrate effective and professional communication with ability to present to various audiences, including physicians and other members of the oncology office staff
- Deep understanding of community oncology practices and the challenges they face in relation to navigation of patients to academic treatment centers
- Passionate about improving patient outcomes and dedicated to making a difference
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrable organizational skills
- Independent self-starter
- Willingness to travel with some overnight travel
- A valid driver’s license at all times and willingness to notify the company immediately of any endorsement or violations.
