Summer Part Time
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with an assigned mentor throughout the summer;
- Assist in building sub-assemblies from electrical schematics or cable drawings;
- Assist in machine assembly including mechanical erection of system structure and safety fencing;
- Route electrical cables and hoses throughout a system build;
- Assist in providing the following system troubleshooting needs: wiring, PLC, HMI, robot logic/path programming, networking; and
- Work collaboratively with design engineers and project managers throughout the process of a system build.
Experience / Skills:
- Entry level
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints;
- Ability to use common hand tools; and
- Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
Nonessential Skills and Experience:
- Safety (OSHA, SDS), ANSI (RIA) Standards.
