Shift: Days, 7a-7p, 12x4, 48hrs per week, will accept 36, EOW/EOH
Length: 13 weeks
Can be placed on-call,1,12-hr shift per pay period in the event census drops. Report-in time within 1hr of being called back.
Requirements:
- NC License
- 2 Years’ Experience
- Must have Intermediate Care experience
- Cardiac experience required
- Must have Telemetry experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH
- EPIC experience required
- Travel experience preferred
Other Details:
- Accepting local travelers 75 miles or closer
- All units may handle COVID patients
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - No Exemptions
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical Exemptions Only

This unit includes a total of 28 beds PCU/Tele hybrid unit- 20 bed Telemetry level of care unit and 8 hardwired Intermediate Care Unit. Patients include those across the life span for cardiovascular and medical/ surgical needs. Primary population heart failure, chest pain rule out, post cath with and without PCI, post pacemaker/defibrillator implant.
Staffing ratio is 1 to 4/5 days, 1 to 5/6 on nights. Floating to appropriate units
RN for Telemetry Unit (3rd Floor) Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro NC
Care specifics include CPAP/BiPAP, Antiarrhythmics, Vasopressors, Antihypertensives, Anticoagulants, Sheath / TR band removal
