The IT department ensures smooth operations across the organization by providing technical support. We assist employees with a range of issues, from basic troubleshooting to complex problems, and collaborate with teams like HR to manage onboarding and offboarding. Whether through remote or onsite support at our Chicago office, our goal is to deliver efficient and reliable solutions to maintain seamless technology operations.
What you will do
- Respond to helpdesk inquiries and resolve technical issues efficiently, including tasks like password resets, assigning licenses, and troubleshooting user access problems.
- Manage IT asset inventory, including computers and peripherals.
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Administer and maintain company tools (e.g., Google Admin Console, JumpCloud, Atlassian Suite, Slack).
- Provide onsite support for office events as needed.

Who You Are
- Passionate about customer service, solving technical issues, and providing clear and empathetic support to non-technical users.

- Take initiative, communicate clearly, and adapt to varying technical skill levels.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and troubleshoot effectively during high-priority incidents.
Required:
- 1-3 years of experience in IT helpdesk or technical support roles.
- Proficiency in managing Google Workspace and Atlassian Suite.
- Experience with issue tracking systems like JIRA Service Desk.
- Familiarity with both PC and Mac environments, including installation, management, and troubleshooting.
- Comfortable communicating with the company via Slack, email, video, and other methods.
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Familiarity with IAM (Identity and Access Management) and SSO (Single Sign-On) technologies.
- Exposure to security tools such as 1Password and Crowdstrike.
- Experience in supporting Zoom rooms, printers, WiFi, etc.
- Experience creating guides and documentation to expand IT knowledge bases (e.g., Confluence) and support company-wide learning and efficiency.

The pay range for this role is $55,000- $65,000/ year. Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
