The PRN IV-Certified LPN selected will work in Assisted Living Facilities along with some home visits throughout Pinellas County. Start time is between 6:30-7:00am (for morning insulins) and will also be responsible for afternoon insulins as well. PRN status requires up to 15 Units (visits) a week.
**Applicants who don't have their IV certification but would be willing to get it before starting are also encouraged to apply. **

What does a Pinnacle Home Health LPN do?
As a Home Health Nurse for Pinnacle Home Care, you will travel to a patient’s home to administer services and provide a variety of tasks during patient visits depending on the specific plan of care and type of patient. Some tasks include:
- Providing skilled nursing care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN)
- Perform selected skilled actions in the provision of curative, rehabilitative, palliative, or preventative nursing care.
- Responsible and accountable for making decisions that are based on the individual’s nursing experience and educational preparation.
- Timely completion of patient documentation
Qualifications:
- Current State LPN or LVN License
- IV Certification
- Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.
- Has one (1) year of nursing experience. Community/home health or medical/surgical experience is preferred.
- Possess and maintain valid CPR certification.
- Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured per the organization's requirements.
