We're fortunate to offer a rare part-time opening scheduling Wednesday - Friday (schedule details below).
We are seeking the best local, daily drive-in Medical Assistants near Kentwood, MI with excellent patient care skills, great communication, and concierge level customer service. Think you might be a fit?
Opportunity Specifics:
- Clinical Setting: Outpatient Clinic
- Assignment Dates: ASAP (possibility of extensions)
- Schedule: Wed, Thurs, & Fri
- Wed & Fri (7:00a - 4:00p); Thurs (9:00a - 6:00p)
- Compensation: Competitive Weekly Pay
Medical Assistant Role & Responsibilities:
- Greet and Room patients.
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients.
- Prepare and label samples for laboratory testing.
- Obtain blood & urine samples, measure and record vital signs, maintain clean exam rooms.
- Clerical responsibilities as necessary.
- Exhibit good clinical judgement within the scope of the role with or without the provider present.
- Follow all clinical and clerical protocols per company policy.
Candidate Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- 1 year of recent experience in clinical settings
- Current CPR or BLS
- Ability to drive-in daily to Kentwood, Michigan
- A basic understanding of patient care, medical terminology, coding procedures, reference tools, and appropriate clinical pharmacology for medical assistant practice scope.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical health care record systems.
