Unit Highlights
Nurses on Unit 3E have the unique opportunity to care for the
specialized population of burn and trauma patients. They care for patients with
a variety of injuries, including burns, gun shot wounds and motor vehicle
accidents. The unit is a fast paced, high acuity floor that exposes nurses to
patients who undergo many types of surgical procedures. Nurses on 3E are
skilled in performing burn dressings, managing high risk medications, and
providing care to complex patients.
The nurses for 3E thrive within the interdisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
- Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
