Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full-time outpatient endocrinology/diabetes educator position at HealthAlliance Clinton Hospital, part of the UMass Memorial Health System, in Leominster, MA. CDCES not required!

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:
- provide exceptional nutrition care to patients with diabetes in the outpatient setting;
- serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team, with involvement in group education classes/support groups, committees and/or community outreach events as needed;
- participate in performance improvement and/or outcome measurement initiatives;
- be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process; and
- efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:
- Registered Dietitian credentials and licensure in MA
- two or more years of clinical experience;
- one or more years of outpatient diabetes experience strongly preferred;
- excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing needs;
- a history of working independently with little direction and with a positive outlook; and
- a commitment to continued education in the nutrition field.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
