Mission of Role/Position Summary:
Be part of a team of knowledgeable, compassionate, and helpful allies for our clients. This position will support emergency response projects as needed. This position will provide invoicing and quality assurance support for our clients. The compliance reviewer will be responsible for ensuring data and eligibility accuracy for our invoicing process.
Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:

- Review debris invoices to ensure billing accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure QA/QC for all data and invoices.
- Invoice reconciliation and tabulation.
- Review contracts to verify that what is being billed on an invoice is allowable.
- Be able to confirm/review items on the debris invoice are eligible for FEMA reimbursement.
- Be able to confirm debris quantities are accurate.
- Assist with past due or returned invoices.
- Ability to assist in response data management and data analytics.
- Ensure QA/QC of all incoming and outgoing data.
- Creating PDF documents.
- Data entry and spreadsheet creations/maintenance.
- Running reports and data extraction.
- Manage data reporting, collection and analysis.
- Work in a fast-paced and variable environment with shifting priorities.
- Assist with all needed administrative tasks for successful site operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Data management experience.
- Experience in processing invoices.
- Disaster Debris experience and FEMA eligibility knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and to identify and resolve issues or propose solutions.
- Be highly organized and detail oriented.
- Possess strong time management skills, along with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Able to adapt to different situations and individuals.
- Excellent and proven computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office 365, Teams, SharePoint.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Expected Hours of Work:
Schedule may vary. Work on evenings and weekends may be required. Dependability and punctuality are paramount.
Travel Requirements:
- No travel is expected for this position.
- Like all positions in emergency management, must be willing to travel and deploy to client sites for extended periods of time.
Physical Demands:
- Mobility required on-site with clients.
- Sitting or standing for hours at a time.
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time if needed.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. repetitively throughout the day and as needed.
Working Environment:
- Emergency management consultants may work in an office or home environment or be deployed to the field which may require working outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
- Work may be on-site with clients ex: EOC, hospital, debris sites or local government buildings.
- All AC Disaster Consulting (ACDC) positions are remote work site positions with the home location agreed upon at time of hire.
- If the remote work site locations change, ACDC Human Resources must be made aware, and leadership needs to approve any site changes for business registration and payroll tax purposes.
Experience/Education Required:
- Data management experience.
- Experience in processing invoices.
- Disaster Debris experience and FEMA eligibility knowledge.
- Proficiency in data entry and data management.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel and Word) for analysis and communication.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be eligible to work in the US without employer Visa sponsorship.
Experience/Education Preferred:
- Degree preferable in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Additional Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must pass company and any applicable client background check and reference check upon offer of employment.
- Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
- Must possess a personal cell phone and computer with which to perform the work.
