Job Summary
- The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible to operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment as directed by physicians to perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
Education and/or Experience
- Associate’s degree is required.
License/Certification/Registration
- A.R.R.T. or ARDMS registration
- BLS is required within six months of employment.
- Completion of the Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter.
Work Schedule
- As the need arise in the radiology department; PRN (as needed)
- Flexible scheduling ~ One - two days/per week.
- Day shifts, M-F. No scheduled weekends, on call or holidays.
