Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Cardiac ICU - Neuro
Shift: Nights / 6:30p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, will accept 48 upon request, EOH
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend/Holiday : 3 weekends out of every 6 week schedule
Requirements:
- IN/compact license
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience
- 1 full year of ICU/Medical ICU/Neuro ICU experience
- 1 travel assignment
- Trauma level II experience
- Skillset: dysphagia screen/strong neuro assessment skills. Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), ETT/vent management (RT available), Initiate/titrate (sedatives, paralytics, cardiac drips, vasoactive, insulin, etc.), sepsis protocols/care, post ROSC therapeutic hypothermia protocol
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- NIHSS
- Preferred: CRRT, tPa administration/assessments, massive transfusion (Belmont)
- Recent Epic charting experience
Other details:
- Float Requirement: First to float within skillset
- Patient Population: General medical ICU patients – general cardiac/neuro, respiratory failure, vascular post -surgical, renal failure, sepsis
- Unit Information: 28 beds. Ratio: Days 1:2-3; NOCs 1:2-3; CN rarely takes patients.
- No local candidates (40 mile radius rule)
- Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs
