What’s a typical day as a Service Coordinator? You’ll be:
• Overseeing and coordinating all schedules, routes, and resources of the Service team.
• Assigning, dispatching, and allocating appropriate field personnel to different projects on a multi-state basis.
• Tracking job, field personnel, and backlog status on the appropriate Service Tracker.
• Maintaining records of work performed, including dispatch logs, service orders, repair orders, work orders, and other related documents.
• Preparing quotes for service repairs and customer invoices.
• Coordinating with clients to confirm the scheduling of their service and securing a point of contact to be on-site.
• Acting as a liaison between customers and the office, promoting company products and services.
• Effectively communicating top-level escalations to the Service Manager.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have 2+ years of related work experience in a dispatching or scheduling environment.
• Have experience in telephone and email/ticketing system-based customer support.
• Have proficient computer skills including using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Have a strong technical acumen and the ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines.
• The ability think on your feet and work with others.
• Have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Have a strong work ethic and are a self-starter.
