What you will do:
A highly visible position that serves as the point of contact for any/all aspects of the AHU Sales Channels, International Regions and Intercompany orders. This position will collaborate with the Air Handling Manufacturing Plants, 3rd Party Suppliers, Product Management, Engineering, and others to ensure customer satisfaction and financial plans are met.
How you will do it:
- Regular and consistent communications with our Channel Sales Reps, International branches and Intercompany partners.
- Coordinate efforts between Applied Equipment departments and plants to ensure that customer needs are met.
- Proactive communications including order acknowledgements, schedule notifications and shipment tracking.
- Support the short-range financial forecast for the channels to achieve company goals while meeting customer needs and requirements.
- Provide new contract numbers and book and release new contracts, following up with the MBC to ensure timely release to the AHU manufacturing plants.
- Facilitate delivery appointments between customers and carriers as needed.
- Provide filter OIF’s to our filter supplier to ensure delivery as required by the customer.
- Enforce corporate policies, including Logistics and Tax Departments.
- Ensure all necessary export documentation, international shipping documents, and banking documents are secured correctly completed for contracts exported from the US based AHU plants.
- Ensure accurate information entered in accounting system to insure accurate reporting of financial information to corporate senior leadership and business units.
- Prepare billing information so that invoices may be issued for goods shipped and delivered and/or services rendered.
- Prepare billing and cost information for adjustments to customer accounts for issuing credit memos including error billing corrections, and other authorized adjustments.
- Demand place orders to manufacturing facilities as needed.
- Approve and release order revisions/change orders to the AHU plants as needed.
- Resolve accounting or manufacturing holds on released orders.
- Invoice and close out contracts.
- Other assignments as needed.
In performing these tasks, the incumbent is expected to:
- Be a proactive thinker with the desire to constantly improve processes and performance.
- An aggressive attitude towards meeting our customer’s needs while keeping focus on the objectives of the business is mandatory.
- A professional image in all aspects is a must with excellent interpersonal and communication skills — ideally, demonstrated when working with senior-level individuals from different geographies and functional disciplines.
- Must be comfortable maintaining VP-/Director-level relationships and recognize appropriate style of communication.
- Able to manage organizational tension and conflict and to work independently, achieving goals with limited direction and oversight.
- Minimal travel required.

Interacts with sales staff on a regular, defined basis; communicates with supply chain staff as needed. University degree and 1 year suggested minimum experience, or 2-year degree and 6 years suggested minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
