Duration of assignment: 8-9 months

What’s a typical day as an Accounting Clerk? You’ll be:
• Preparing financial reports and statements.
• Making routine costs distributions.
• Preparing and posting accounting documents (fees, receipts, invoices, expense accounts, etc.).
• Posting requisitions, receipts, and disbursement information to appropriate ledgers or journals.
• Maintaining cash books and other control records.
• Performing monthly cash reconciliation and various balance sheet account controls.
• Interfacing with internal departments to compile financial data to satisfy corporate consolidation reporting requirements.
• Carrying out specific tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for the work site.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or comparable experience.
• Have strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Possess knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Have the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
