The Senior Business Operations Specialist will oversee the day-to-day activities of the company's operations, focusing on enhancing operational systems and performance. This role involves efficiently managing people, partner relations, and coordinating operations with other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficiency. Reporting to the Chief Operations Owl, this high-visibility role involves partnering with Product, Resources, HR, Operations and business leadership to support Owlchemy’s quarterly business reviews, KPI management, competitive intelligence reporting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will synthesize business insights into executive-level narratives, build strong stakeholder relationships, and maintain meticulous attention to detail in writing and variance analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Support Owlchemy’s Quarterly Business Review (QBR), including creating a workback plan between Google Finance and Owlchemy internal stakeholders, crafting the overall QBR narrative, and creating executive level presentations.
- Partner with Owlchemy leadership to develop an approach to monitoring our strategic roadmap and manage our key KPIs including goal creation, status updates, and external reporting.
- Own Owlchemy’s strategic roadmap and report which includes assessing progress against KPI’s to provide key insights to our leadership team.
- Provides guidance to improve operations processes and onboard new technologies or processes
- Lead the launch of internal initiatives, including project planning, communications, roll out, monitoring and feedback loops
- Collaborate cross-functionally with relevant departments to meet a common understanding of operation needs and internal project schedules
- Use data analysis to optimize and improve operational strategies and processes
- Develop agendas for quarterly leadership meetings to drive progress on strategic initiatives.

Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Operations, Business or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of managing complex operations and leading teams to achieve business objectives
- Experience providing management expertise and oversight
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience in a Corporate FP&A or Business Operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in managing KPIs across multiple teams
- Experience using enterprise planning systems for analysis and reporting
- Experience with Tableau or other dashboarding tools
- Previous experience in the Live Streaming, Gaming, Entertainment or Consulting Industry
Physical Requirements:
Owls must be able to use virtual reality headsets but are not expected to own one.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a remote full-time, 40-hours per week position. Core hours of work are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CT.
Travel:
For Owls working outside of the Austin, TX area, travel to Austin may be required 4 to 6 times per year.
