What You’ll be Doing

In this role, you’ll ensure marketing and sales goals are exceeded, including facilitating the resolution of process, operational, and marketing challenges through cross-functional partnerships. You’ll lead the marketing team strategies and initiatives that align with our business objectives by industry and drive sales pipeline with the sales team leading the Business Development Sellers Team in charge of finding prospects, following up on marketing activities and growing current business opportunities. You’ll report to the Vice President of Growth & Marketing. You’ll impact the business through your client relationships, team building, leadership development, and marketing acumen.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
- Partner with corporate resources to align marketing strategies with the Sales Department, including technology and Demand Generations solutions.
- Build a successful Lead Development team that follows up on arriving leads and prospects new accounts. Works with the sales team on account plans and growing the current opportunities of our client base and keeping our own databases updated. You will also provide the right incentive-compensation plan for the Lead Development team, based on newly identified opportunities.
- Provide leadership and development of high-performing Business Development teams through the full lifecycle of the employee.
- Drive the optimization of learning and marketing technology tools, and manage the utilization of technology to link leadership, learning initiatives, and marketing campaigns to performance.
- Partner with executive leadership to identify performance and marketing needs, developing and implementing strategies and tactics.
- Identify solutions and initiatives to create organizational and marketing effectiveness.
- Collaborate effectively with consultants, vendors, and professional resources to enhance the organization's capability and marketing reach.
- Build capability by developing a strategy to support the design, customization, and delivery of leadership and marketing development programs
What You Bring to the Role
- Post Graduate degree in Business and 10 years of experience with a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
- Experience in managing Business Development teams and marketing initiatives aligning with company strategies and values.
- Strong understanding of marketing & sales principles, strategies, and tools, with the ability to develop and sell marketing products to potential clients.
- Exceptional consulting, influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Significant organizational skills, and user knowledge of database and marketing systems.
- Possess contract negotiating capabilities to help build potential partnerships, and be able to bring staff, key influencers, and marketing stakeholders together to work in concert.
