I. POSITION PURPOSE
The Clinical Supervisor provides case supervision and clinical oversight to Kansas Parent Management Training Oregon model clinicians and Substance Abuse Counselors and ensures the successful implementation and evaluation of clinical services.
II. NATURE AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for recruitment and retention of K-PMTO participants.
- Acts as the first contact for families, inviting them to participate in K-PMTO.
- Provides case oversight and clinical supervision for K-PMTO practitioners and Substance Abuse Counselors.
- Supervises staff, creates individual work plans, and evaluates job performance.
- Actively participates in PMTO training to achieve and maintain certification.
- Maintains a small caseload (5 families during training/certification, minimum 1 family post-certification).
- Attends PMTO supervisory seminars to promote agency support/assistance for K-PMTO practitioners to achieve certification.
- Monitors and ensures trainees' compliance with training procedures.
- Provides oversight necessary for successful K-PMTO implementation.
- Monitors assessment procedures and ensures timely and reliable completion.
- Ensures accurate monthly data collection, tracking, and reporting.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Licensure in Kansas through the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.)
- Minimum of three years of experience in child welfare, family preservation, or a similar clinical setting.
