Aretum is seeking a dedicated Support Tech Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality technical support to our clients and ensuring their systems operate effectively. You will serve as a critical point of contact for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing solutions for efficient deployment and management of endpoints on various operating systems, platforms, and device types including MacOS.
- Implementing and managing endpoints at scale by using Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Intune Suite, Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Copilot for Security, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Windows 365.
- Implementing identity, security, access, updates, and apps for endpoints. Creating and documenting policies and enhancing procedures following the organization’s change management process.
- Proficiency with PowerShell. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and management.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure. Develop and implement solutions for new or unknown issues.
- Provide expert advice, assistance, and guidance in support of the IT infrastructure, Phone system and conference rooms.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in IT support and security.
- Lead technical support processes and guide internal teams and users of Microsoft Defender products, including Microsoft Defender Antivirus, Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Defender products across our organization's systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3 – 5 years of proven experience in an IT Service Desk environment.
- Adept at leveraging help desk ticketing systems and remote support tools to provide efficient and effective IT support.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to see issues from a holistic perspective.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach others. Must have a four-year bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of directly relevant experience in IT support, with a focus on Microsoft Intune, Entra, Defender, Log Analytics and Purview. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft and other technologies are a plus.
