Pay rate: $16.00 to $17.00/hour or more depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm
Term: Temp to perm

What’s a typical day as a Quality Control Inspector? You’ll be:
- Accepting or rejecting products, materials, or articles based on engineering specifications and standards.
- Experience with basic measuring devices and visual inspection.
- Identifying and documenting non-conformances and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Reporting discrepancies to Supervision and Management.
- Documenting inspection results through the completion of reports and logs.
- Performing mathematical functions for weight measurements, torque conversions, and dimensional measurements.
- Ensuring measurement equipment is well maintained and operating accurately.
- Performing visual inspections and testing on various cables, harnesses, and connectors.
- Measuring machined products utilizing comparators, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Tracking and recording job progress and deficiencies daily.
- Accurately recording product information and other statistics into computer databases.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have keen attention to detail and quality. Have machine shop experience.
- Can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Are proficient with data entry and the use of computer resources.
- Have the ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions and interpret drawings, schematics, specifications, and standards.
- Ability to use pin gauges, ring gauge, calipers, micrometers, microscope and other measuring tools (CMM capabilities a big plus)
- Can accurately use required measuring tools and perform basic mathematical functions.
- Are able to bend, stoop, reach, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Can lift up to 30 pounds.
