Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday 10am-7pm; 40 hours per week (some evenings/weekends)

About the Position
Brooklyn SolarWorks is seeking a motivated and self-starting individual to ensure the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse goods. These duties include organizing and cleaning the warehouse, aiding in inventory upkeep, and checking for damaged/missing items, and tracking delivery of shipments.

Responsibilities:
- Working with Warehouse and Electrical managers in maintaining supply of electrical stock.
- Assisting with procurement of electrical parts / components
- Packing of electrical kits and performing other prep work for installs
- Following receiving protocols for deliveries
- Loading & unloading vehicles.
- Driving materials to job sites, as needed.
- Organizing & labeling materials in a safe and orderly fashion.
- Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods and material.
- Keeping the warehouse environments clean and tidy.
- Use software to manage / track warehouse stock
- Support Warehouse manager in maintaining vehicle fleet.
- Reporting any damaged/missing goods to the Warehouse Manager.
- Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move/store inventory.

Required Skill Set
- Highschool diploma required.
- Valid Driver’s license and a clean driving record is required.
- Experience driving a forklift is required.
- Familiarity with electrical parts / components is required.
- 1-2 year(s) of relevant experience.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs or more.
- Required to stand or walk for long periods at a time.
- Team-oriented and friendly disposition.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work irregular hours when needed.
- Ability to work independently and under moderate supervision.
Preferred Skill Set
- A passion for Brooklyn SolarWork’s mission.
- Knowledge of solar equipment is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Google Suite
- The ideal candidate will have had experience working in an electrical supply house.
