Description: Our Trainers work with minimal supervision and is frequently required to use professional skills, discretion and sensitivity while addressing various quality and training issues. This individual works as a team member in determining departmental needs and serves as a resource for the Associates and Management Team. Provides training and coaching for the further development of each employee. Must work well with a variety of individuals and be able to resolve issues professionally. This individual is a leader who interfaces with various operations management personnel, including Center Directors, Supervisory staff, and the Quality Team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organizes & conducts training sessions as needed
- Provides documentation of training provided, and validates that budgeted time allocated is met
- Creates & conducts certification for learners. Provides feedback and coaching as part of the learning experience
- Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, tutorials, or quick reference guides
- Confers with Management and other employees to gain knowledge of what work situations require training
- Attends meetings and workshops, and participates on committees, as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in designing and delivering employee training and development programs
- Minimum 1 year experience in patient access
- Experience in medical reimbursement claims procedures, standards, and documentation requirements
- Knowledge of HIPAA
- Knowledge and work experience with ICD9, ICD10, CPT and different coding systems
- Knowledge of PC and applications/programs required to successfully perform their duties
