Position: Insurance Specialist
Pay: $17/hr. Weekly Pay plus Benefits
Schedule: Must be able to accept any 8-hour shift assigned between the hours of operation 7am-8pm CST. M-F
Type of role: Temp to possible perm
Equipment: For consideration, associates MUST provide own device which can be any PC, Apple, Chromebook or thin desktop device such as a home computer, etc. No tablets or phones.
Job Details:
- Perform both outbound and inbound calls servicing patients depending on department.
- Speak to providers and perform benefit investigations.
- Verify and input critical patient demographic data and info.
- Provide positive and friendly customer service, no collections or sales involved!
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent insurance verification experience required.
- Ability to work from home, in a quiet setting, using high speed internet.
- Must have the ability to hardwire directly into modem.
- Positive and friendly personality with exceptional attendance.
- Great communication skills and the ability to work in a team-focused environment.
The following technical requirements must be met to work from home:
- **Must use your own personal laptop or PC! (No Tablets or Mobile Phones Accepted) **
- Have a web cam for use interacting with your manager. Not for use with customers. Webcam on laptop is acceptable.
- Minimum RAM requirements: 16gb of RAM, 250gb of storage
- DSL or Cable Internet connection with a rated speed of 1Mbps download and 768 Kbps upload.
- Reliable Internet Service Provider (ISP).
- Once hired install and use the required Company software including a Company provided anti-virus software.
