About the Surgical Short Stay:We are looking for a dedicated registered nurse to join our dynamic team in a facility that operates 24/7, featuring 12 post-surgical beds. We value experienced nurses, particularly those with backgrounds in Med-Surg, step-down, or ICU. Our patient demographic primarily includes individuals awaiting floor availability and those under observation. The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 5:1. As a vital part of our dynamic healthcare environment, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting patients through their medical journey.
Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
- ACLS Certifications
- One-year of acute nursing experience required.

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
