Position Overview
Plan, direct and coordinate activities of projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed timeframe. Interact with customers, sales representatives, team members and internal departments to gather information and manage systems for order entry, inventory management and all customer requests.
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers regularly by phone, email or in person to develop and maintain an excellent relationship.
- Reviews the purchase requirements for each job; initiates the process.
- Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
- Monitor and replenish customer inventories to level agreed upon by the customer and execute purchases of inventory.
- Identify issues, specify resources required, evaluate solution options, communicate requirements of team members and review open issues and action items.
- Manage the collection, analysis, documentation and coordination of assigned projects.
- Maintain technical competency and remain current in changes in processes and procedures.
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to promptly resolve inquires and customer complaints and review with customer service manager.
- Abide by all company policies and procedures, including practice safe work habits.
- Adhere to Wisconsin Packaging Divisionβs quality policy to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a liaison to customers, sales, customer service, design and manufacturing.
- Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.
- Promotes a positive working environment supporting Wisconsin Packaging Divisionβs teamwork concept.
- Assists the management team with special projects as assigned.
- Operate customer or inventory management software systems.
- Present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2-3 years of project coordinator or project management experience in related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Work, Excel and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat required.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to evaluate a situation objectively.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, offer accurate information.Β
- Ability to work independently with a high attention to detail.
