Overview:
We are looking for a Groundskeeper to join our team at ARIUM at Lowry!
Responsible for keeping the grounds of the property in an attractive condition; for keeping exteriors, common areas, vacant apartments, sidewalks and alleyways of the property in a clean and safe condition. Assist in other types of maintenance when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Picks up litter on grounds and waters lawn, shrubs and flowers as needed.
- Sprays with insecticides as needed.
- Maintains watering and drainage systems.
- Assists in inventory control and upkeep of all grounds equipment and supplies.
- Assists with any emergency maintenance.
- Cleans all hallways and common areas including laundry center.
- Cleans all parking areas.
- Cleans all sidewalks and alleyways.
Qualifications:
Knowledge/Experience Required of the Position
- One to three months related on the job experience or training.
- Must be well organized and a self-starter who can work efficiently with little supervision.
Education Required/Preferred
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Physical Demands
- Perform general maintenance repair tasks professionally without endangering yourself, residents or fellow associates
- Mobility and flexibility to use ladders to heights in excess of 8 to 9 feet.
- The work is demanding. Typically, the associate will not sit to do the work. There may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of moderate items such as papers, boxes, event items, collateral, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
Work Environment
The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which include working outdoors in temperatures above 90 degrees or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.

The salary range for this position is $16.00-$18.00 per hour depending on experience.
