Unit Highlights
Nurses in the Cardiac Catheterization lab provide care
for both out-patients and in-patients undergoing minimally invasive cardiac procedures using imaging
guidance. Our Cardiac Catheterization procedure area includes 11 cardiac
catheterization procedure labs, and pre- and post- procedure holding areas.
More than 19,000 interventional heart procedures including percutaneous valve repairs
and more than 1,800 open heart surgeries are performed each year.
The Jesse Ball DuPont Fund has recognized Washington Hospital Center as one of

Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
- Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
This position has a hiring range of $39.000 - $63.406
