MHS is currently seeking a Coordinator, Employment Services & Benefits for the Human Resources Department. This role provides extensive high quality customer service, working with new hires in the processing of their onboarding employment documentation and benefits enrollment activities. Also, through frequent meetings and responding to calls and emails, as well as assisting walk-ins. Furthermore, this role is proactive in sharing information to inform and prepare individuals for the programs and processes. Some of the responsibilities include:
- Supporting Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning, Hershey Trust Company, and the M.S. Hershey Foundation with benefits enrollments.
- Conducting informational meetings and creating informational newsletters, etc.
- Supporting retirees with benefits.
- Extensive processing of relevant documentation and related data entry.
- Extensive auditing and proactive troubleshooting.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders including payroll and benefit vendors.
- Managing miscellaneous benefits programs such as fitness reimbursements, Hershey Park passes, service awards, etc.
- Providing reports, scanning, and filing.
- Providing general administrative support within Human Resources, including annual open enrollment, front desk coverage, and more.
This position is in Hershey, PA and is an in-person role, working standard business hours Monday – Friday, 8AM – 4:30PM. This position pays between $23.46 - $31.32 an hour with excellent benefits package (medical, vision & dental insurance, 401(a) retirement plan with employer contribution, paid time off, wellness benefits and free lunches).
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Three or more years of office administrative support, preferably with benefits administration.
- Proficient in the utilization of technology including Microsoft applications, databases, etc.HRIS Peoplesoft / Taleo experience desired.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with an extremely high level of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated skills in high quality customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively.
- Demonstrated skills in multi-tasking while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Candidates should be eager to actively engage with students.
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS staff are role models for MHS students.
