Reporting to the Manager of Radiology this position provides health care services, applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment; performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner; exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics; applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- Current BLS required.
- Certification by the State of California (CRT) required.
- Certification by the State of California in Fluoroscopy required for Radiology Tech II.
- MAB test required within 6 months of hire if assigned to work in the Emergency Department.
- Certificate of venipuncture for contrast media injection required within 6-months of hire if establishing new IV access for the purpose of contrast injection.
