Position Overview: Shift Manager
As an Shift Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the restaurant delivers exceptional experiences to our guests while upholding operational standards. Your responsibilities will include managing the daily operations of the restaurant and ensuring that the team adheres to all established processes, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Guest Experience: Ensure that all guests receive high-quality service and have a positive dining experience.
2. Operational Management: Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
3. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop team members to foster a positive work environment and encourage high performance.
4. Training and Development: Assist in training new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Complete all required training, including the Mrs. Winners Chicken & Biscuits Brand, Food Safety Certification, and Manager Certification.
- Participate in any additional training mandated by Mrs. Winners
5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
6. Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, placing orders as necessary, and minimizing waste.
7. Financial Responsibilities: Support the management in achieving financial goals by monitoring expenses and ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
8. Problem Solving: Address and resolve guest concerns and operational issues promptly and effectively.
9. Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports on restaurant performance, including sales, labor, and inventory.
10. Collaboration: Work closely with the management team to implement strategies for operational improvements and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Open availability to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 40 hours per week, including flexible scheduling.
- 1-3 years of management experience is required, with a preference for restaurant management experience.
- Strong leadership qualities, organizational skills, and the ability to interact cooperatively with others.
